Replace with: https://paramountlaw.com/privacy-policy/

Fix 2: Define “PLAW” at First Use

Current: “…owned and/or controlled by PLAW…”

Replace with: “…owned and/or controlled by Paramount Law PC (“PLAW”)…”

Fix 3: Separate SMS Consent from DNC Override in Section 2

After the existing paragraph about consenting to be contacted by telephone, email, or postal mail, add the following new paragraph:

SMS/Text Message Consent (separate from telephone consent above): By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages, you separately consent to receive recurring SMS/MMS messages from Paramount Law PC. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing any services. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time without affecting your service agreement or your consent to other forms of communication.

Fix 4: Add New Section 2A — SMS Communications Terms

Insert the following as a new section after Section 2 (renumber subsequent sections accordingly):

2A. SMS Communications.

If you opt in to receive SMS/text messages from Paramount Law PC (“PLAW”), the following terms apply in addition to the general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy:

You may receive recurring automated SMS/MMS messages including but not limited to: account notifications, account status updates, payment reminders, settlement milestone updates, appointment reminders, and service-related communications directly related to services you have contracted PLAW to provide.

Message Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your account activity and communication preferences. PLAW does not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages via SMS.

Short Code and Phone Numbers. Messages may be sent from short code 4528 and/or standard telephone numbers associated with Paramount Law.

Message and Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier plan. PLAW is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier.

Opt-Out. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received from PLAW. Upon opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages unless you re-opt in. Opting out of SMS does not affect any other communications or your service agreement with PLAW.

Help. For assistance with SMS communications, reply HELP to any message or contact us at (702) 551-8497 or support@paramountlaw.com.

Carrier Liability. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is outside of PLAW’s control.

No Sharing of SMS Data. PLAW does not sell, rent, or share your SMS opt-in data, phone number, or SMS consent information with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number may only be disclosed to service providers who assist PLAW in delivering SMS messages, and such providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for any other purpose.

Age Requirement. You must be at least 18 years of age to opt in to the Paramount Law SMS program.

Consent Not Required for Services. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from PLAW. You may revoke your SMS consent at any time without affecting your service agreement.
